About the role

Hey, do you believe that content is a tool for business growth and customer satisfaction? If yes, then this role is for you. We’re looking for a Head of Content to join our team. This role will have complete control over the tasks of the content department, and have ownership over Product Fruit’s organic growth.

Your KPIs will be generating quality traffic and growing domain authority. This is a role for someone with 3+ years of content creation experience, passion for genuinely helpful content and knowledge of the SaaS industry.

We’re a tech brand. It’s all about the product and how it can help users solve their jobs-to-be-done. You’ll need to become an onboarding expert so you can write from a position of authority. We don’t expect you to have any prior experience with our product, but you’ll need to learn it inside out by using it.

You’ll report to the head of marketing.

Main responsibilities

  • Strategize content plans and strategies
  • Keyword research and management
  • Content creation (long form, short form, repurposing)
  • Collaborate with sales, support and product team
  • Manage freelancers to keep quality standards
  • Backlink management
  • SEO optimization and strategies to increase traffic
  • Incorporate content in Growth strategies

Who are we looking for?

  • You believe in the power of content and how it can accelerate business growth. More importantly, you’re able to articulate that vision and get stakeholder buy-in.
  • You can dumb down complex functionalities into an easy-to-grasp concepts so that top funnel prospect gets the benefits right away.
  • Your forte is long form content (blog, ebooks, white papers). If you can also do visual content (videos, infographics) this is a distinct advantage.
  • You're solution-oriented and enjoy working in an agile environment where results matter more than processes.
  • You have high standards when it comes to execution. Good is not good enough; you always strive for greatness.

Requirements

  • Native/ Bilingual in English
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS content marketing
  • Strong SEO knowledge and proven success
  • Able to manage multiple projects and freelancers
  • Confident using analytics and making data-backed decisions
  • Creative and able to come up with think-out-the-box content ideas
  • Familiarity with the SaaS ecosystem will go a long way - especially the analytics, CRM, and UX tech stack (apps like Mixpanel, Segment, GA4, GTM, Amplitude, Hotjar, etc.). This is what our customers live and breathe
